About Dr. Narayan K.R
Dr. Narayan K.R. is an Ayurveda doctor and surgeon with 10 years of clinical and research experience in Ayurvedic surgery and chronic disease management.
He completed his BAMS, MS (Ayurvedic Surgery) from Ayurveda Mahavidyalaya, Hubballi, and PhD from Rajiv Gandhi University of Health Sciences (RGUHS), Bengaluru for his research on the Ayurvedic management of Diabetic Foot Ulcer.
He has expertise in treating gastrointestinal disorders, neurological conditions, metabolic disorders, non-healing ulcers, and diabetic foot ulcers, along with providing Ayurvedic surgical care.
During his PhD research, Dr. Narayan designed an Automated Vrana Parisheka Yantra, which has been submitted for Intellectual Property Rights (IPR). For his innovative work in the treatment of lipoma, he received the “Innovative Scientist of the Year – 2019” award from the World Research Council and United Medical Council. He was also honored with the “Youth Vaidya Icon Award – 2021” by Jivan Amrit Ayurveda Pharmacy in association with the Ministry of AYUSH.
